Rain dates are built into season schedule and are only used if bands and musicians are available to return for an alternate date performance. NO ALTERNATE LOCATION IS USED OR SCHEDULED FOR CONCERT SEASON.

2025 SCFFA
SEASON WRAP
Another concert season has passed. I’d call it a success. Weather, heat, smoke, humidity and rain, all had influence on attendance. Although, our attendance for the season was in excess of 7500 persons.
Feedback from attendees was positive. Beginning with Magic 5, and special guest Don Gaston, thru record setting numbers for Fire Lake-Bob Seger tribute, wrapping up with Stone Street Revival and Bob Smeets memorial coney night. Every show while similar in description, entertained with diverse musical choices from the classic rock era.
Our country music exercise brought us Taylor Tucky, Quite an evening of entertainment!
Another successful season requires acknowledgment of all the behind the scenes volunteers.
The SCFAA board of directors, the family members recruited for weekly help, the parking crew, the concession crew, all deserve a hearty THANK YOU! My family, my wife, daughters and son, grandson have my heartfelt thanks for all they contribute. The success and history of the SCFAA is directly related to family contribution and support.
The future of the SCFAA is secure in its family tradition.
I thank all of you who support the SCFAA and the summer concert series. The membership, sponsors, and raffle donors make these series special year after year. A special supporter is Roger Sharp and family. Roger is a founding member of the SCFAA. His relentless support of community, family and Swartz Creek is an example to which we all should aspire. Commitment from Roger and his family, and all people who unselfishly give, makes our community a better place to live.
I sincerely appreciate the support you all provide. I look forward to next season. Planning is underway as we put the wraps on the 2025 season.
Be safe, be kind, make an effort to make this community all it can be.
See you next year on the hill!
Sincerely,
David Spillane
President SCFAA
